MI-ZO is a collaborative photographers & directors unit.

Zoren Gold arrived in Los Angeles from Germany and took up photography. His keen and sensitive eye for photography received attention from art directors of major record companies and magazine editors, soon he was assigned to photograph artists such as Thom Yorke, Gwen Stefani, Oasis, Liliy Allen, Mark Ronson, Sheryl Crow, Green Day and Lisa Gerrard.
Minori Murakami is a graphic artist from Japan. She received her BFA in communication arts from Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles.

Upon meeting, the pair began creating digitally altered photographic works by mixing photography & illustration. Embracing the use of digital applications as a natural evolution in art, they utilize post-production as part of the creative process to unfold their inspirations onto their images. The resulting eclectic mix conspires to bring out captive moments of an inner landscape of previously unknown worlds. MI-ZO's playful & seductive imageries resonate surreal qualities, yet reflect a clairvoyant inner vision.

A collection of their earlier works Object That Dreams was published
from Die Gestalten Verlag in 2006. MI-ZO was featured as one of the contemporary artists in Tokyo Life: Art and Design by Rizzoli 2008.
Their unique approach to digital art lead to them being selected artists for the ADOBE CS6 Artist Series in 2012.

For a decade, MI-ZO has created memorable images for fashion, music and advertising campaigns in Europe, the US and Asia. Their distinctive and detailed aesthetic has gained recognition as style-defining image-making in the creative communities and has lead to commercial commissions by some of the worlds leading companies including Adobe, Campari, Coca-Cola, Ray Ban and Starbucks.
